We conducted several required safety drills last week with the assistance of Detective Craig Go-
morczak from the Westmont PD. Officer Gomorczak praised our students behavior during these
drills, and said “They were the best he’d seen , and second place is pretty far behind.” The evacua-

tion, lockdown, tornado and missing child drills were flawless. Hopefully, we will never need to use
them, but if we do, we are well prepared. Similar sentiments were echoed by Captain Daniels of the

The 2009 Fundraising results are in for the Wrapping Paper Drive (Athletics). We realized a profit

of $5932, which was $1263 more than last year! This money will be used to help defray some of the

son. Currently, athletes are selling $10 gift cards to Carlucci’s and Bar Louie. Each $10 card can be
used as cash at these restaurants (only 1 card per visit) and the athletic program gets to keep $6 for Phone:

At the last School Board meeting it was suggested that parents should make a effort to attend at
least one meeting of either the School Board or PSO each year in order to have and understanding of
the activities of these important school organization. The next PSO meeting is November 12th at
8:30 am, and the next School Board meeting will be December 1st at 7:30 pm.

Last week the representative from Dennis Uniforms was here. She had looked over
