Joko Widodo is most deserves
to be the next president
Begin with many surveys has said that Jokowi is the most famous and populer of
president candidateat this time for many reasons. The survey was exclute in 34 provinces
throughout Indonesia on December 4 to 15, 2013, with the number of respondents 1,200
people. The margin of error for the survey is about 3.0% and at 95% confidence level.
During the years of his leadership in Jakarta, Joko Widodo has been awarded by Bung
Hatta as Anti-Corruption Award 2010 and in running his power he was known to be polite,
close to the people, just the way he is, simple, transparent and more open to the people who
need his help.
It is believed that there are many parties who sneer his participation in the event of
2014 presidential election, for various reasons. mission and vision problems which has less
obvious, for giving respond to this problem then this is the real vision and mission to be in
the stretcher by Jokowi if he is elected as the next president of RI.
Here are the number of programs that will be presented by Jokowi as his vision and mission,
as follows :
1. Education
Jokowi emphasis on mental revolution. According to him, the mental revolution will be
effective. when initiated from school level, especially primary education. He believes, if all
of the above is done, there will be a generation that has the mental attitude and good working
people, as well as full of competitiveness, and all in all will increase productivity for the
nation and the state.
2. Agriculture
In the agricultural sector, Jokowi assess that Indonesian disoriented to build this sector. he
said that he will never again bring improved varieties. In fact, according to Jokowi, one
hectare of agricultural land in Indonesia can only produce a maximum of 4.5 tons, while in
another country can reach 8-9 tons.
3. Marine
In the marine sector, Jokowi has said that losing its competitive local fishermen because of
the gap in the field of technology than foreign fishermen. It was to be one of the causes of the
soaring price of fish in the market. He promised, if he will be elected as the next president he
would provide modern vessels for the fishermen, which is accompanied by training for the
fishermen.


4. Energy
In the field of energy, Jokowi highlighting the fuel and electricity subsidies. According to
him, rather than constantly giving the fuel subsidy, it is better to maximize gas and coal
which are much cheaper.
5. Infrastructure
In infrastructure, Jokowi has see the lack of infrastructure development in the sea, the
development of the airport, as well as the addition of the railway line. For sea infrastructure,
he said, if it can be maximized, then there is no longer the price imbalance between regions
with each other. Meanwhile, for the development of airports, Jokowi has claimed that he will
apply the concept of cooperation with private investors. Jokowi is also concerned about the
rail line infrastructure. According to him, it should be the addition of railway lines in Java,
while building a train line in the mining areas in Sumatra and Borneo. And the last will be
discuss in the following paragraph.
6. Administration bureaucracy
Jokowi close vision and mission by revamping programs in the areas of administration and
bureaucracy. He promised that if he will elected, will soon implement the electronic systems
and online channels in the procurement of goods and services in all government institutions,
including in terms of their supervision. The system is a system that is currently implemented
in the provincial government of DKI Jakarta.
If Jokowi is in question about his readiness to lead the nation of Indonesia in 2014, he
will not ready to be the next president because hes focus on fixing jams and flooding in
Jakarta city. Most people argue that, Jokowi has refused to become the next president is the
first reason for placing himself as the best candidate for president, because of the reason for
disapproval describe the sincerity of his soul. Not like any other candidate, which is very
obvious that the motivation is power, opportunity, wealth, etc. The second reason is that he
has the character to self-aware, conscious around his environment. Self-awareness is so real
that he always wanted to get closer to the people of Jakarta and know the problem. The third
reason, Jokowi commitment to his promise during the campaign that he would fix Jakarta city
with his partner, Ahok, as a representative of Jakarta Capital City Governor.
Many people see Jokowi as the new leader figure, with the way and strategy in
leading the nation is different from the old leaders. People will looks like curious how the
result if a new figure with a new style will lead a country. And also in terms of quality he is
not that good.
Senior political analyst from UI, Arbi Sanit, confirms that many surveys conducted by
various agencies stating that Jokowi tops of many presidential candidates who have
volunteered or nominated by the elites political party. In the end there is no other choice,
Jokowi has the top surveys of many presidential candidates and worthy to become the next
president.
