Mysterious objectives and terrain will not be in effect, nor will the Battlefield Terrain
Datasheets.

For the missions where Tactical Objectives are used along with the usual ability to discard
one objective per turn, unobtainable objectives are automatically discarded when they are
drawn (and shuffled back into the deck for players with cards). This can only be done with
objectives that are impossible to obtain, for example if a player rolls or draws the objective
Witch Hunter and the enemy army has no psykers in it then that objective cannot be
achieved and a new one is drawn. If an objective has a chance to be completed even though
it is very unlikely it cannot be discarded in this way.

Restrictions:
No Unbound Lists will be allowed or Apocalypse units.
A maximum of 2 Detachments are allowed, however they have the following restrictions:
A data slate will count as an allied detachment
Supplements, Forgeworld and E-Codex are allowed as long as the player has the
relevant pages (if a digital version) and FAQs printed out and the copy of the book
that they come from.
To restrict the amount of psychic shenanigans going on once you have exceeded ten
mastery levels within your forces you may only generate warp charges with your
primary detachment.
WYSIWYG is in effect, while conversions and aesthetic choices for models are
allowed, proxy models are not. The model must represent what it is and not be able
to be confused as something else at first glance.

Overall Winner
The overall Winner will be the player with the highest combined score from all possible
categories (Hobby, Generalship, Comp and Sportsmanship). In the case of a tie count backs
will be done based on composition score.

Best General
Players will receive 5 points for winning, 3 points for a draw and 1 point for a loss. Winning
and losing are based off of the in game objectives.
Bonus points will be awarded for players who do more damage to the enemy crushing
defeats and forced pyrrhic victories give rewards.
+1 pt Difference in points destroyed 500-999 points greater than that of opponent
+2 pts - Difference in points destroyed 1000-1499 points greater than that of opponent
+2.5 pts - Difference in points destroyed 1500-1800 points greater than that of opponent
The maximum amount of points that can be awarded for a game is 7.5.

Sportsmanship
All players are expected to conduct themselves in a polite and civil manner, if players
behave in a manner deemed unsuitable they will suffer a penalty in points which will be up
to the judges discretion.
Each round a player can give his opponent a score between 0 and 2.5 where 0 is never
wanting to play that opponent again and 2.5 is the best game you have ever had of 40k. A
player should not give out more than 1 of either extreme over the course of the event. This
score is solely based on your opponents attitude. A one line explanation of your score is
required.

Hobby

minimum standard (painted one colour & single colour base, no additional detail).
20% and under - 1 Points

80% and under - 4 Points

Additional hobby elements:
Army has a custom display board, custom objective markers or other additional hobby
material such as custom dice or templates. - 1 to 3 Points
On the day at lunch each player may go around and assign a 1 and 2 to their favourite
armies. The 1 and 2 are one and two points respectively; the two players with the highest
peer score will be awarded an additional 2 points for their hobby.
Please inform the judges if you did not paint your army yourself.
Composition
The judges will go over each list when it is submitted and if it is deemed too powerful or to
be exploiting the current rule set will receive a penalty. This penalty can be up to 5 of the
total 75 earnable points in the tournament.
As well as the judges composition after each game each player can assign a composition
score to the opponents forces, this score can range from 0 to 2.5. A score of 0 represents a
force that you never wish to play again, was a struggle to play against, you just had no fun
due to the list. A score of 2.5 is what is expected of most forces, you would happily play it
again, as balanced a force as can be made with the codex. A short explanation should
accompany every score. If you were happy to play the army dont give it a 1 or 2, make sure
your feelings about the player are kept separate to the composition score.
