CHILDRENS MINISTRIES
Childrens Christmas Prorgram
We will start practicing for our Christmas program on Sunday, October 19th at
5:30pm in the Childrens Chapel. This is open for anyone in Kindergarten
thru Sixth Grade. Parts will be given out on the evening of October 19th.
Come and join the fun!
NMI - MISSIONS
Alabaster
We brought in $995 last Sunday for Alabaster.
Its not too late to turn in those boxes. Bring yours today!!!

Arise! Shine! Portugal!
We have heard from Krystal. She has received 2 of our packages so far and
is very thrilled and thankful! The coffee shop is planning to open the end of
October. She also has a big praise. Krystal was able to borrow the money to
purchase an apartment across the street from the coffee shop. Prayer
Request: Raise the funds to repay the loan for the apartment and Funds to fix
the apartment so that she can move into it (not move-in-ready).

Next NYC payment is this Wednesday,
October 15th - $100

NYC Fundraiser - Yard Sale October 18th
We need your GOOD JUNK. This will be a church wide yard sale with all the
proceeds going to the NYC kids. We will take anything usable/sellable. We
can also arrange to pick up large items if needed. Please be mindful to
donate Good items. Bring your donations now and leave them in the Youth
S.S. Room. For questions and before bringing any large items, contact
Darlene Gilliam.
YOUTH MINISTRIES
FAMILY MINISTRIES
Trunk N Treat - Wednesday, October 29th
6:30pm - 8:00pm
We need volunteers to decorate your car/trunk for this outreach ministry to the
community AND we need candy donations. A receptacle is located in the
foyer to receive your donations.

October is PASTOR APPRECIATION MONTH
A table is set up in the foyer for you to give cards to our pastors. We are a
very blessed congregation and community to have such a gifted and truly
caring pastoral staff. Please take this opportunity to show our pastors and
their families how much we really do appreciate them. Gift cards are great!!!
WOMEN MINISTRIES
Attention ALL ladies of the church: Date Change
Wednesday, October 15th at 6:30pm will be our final lesson on Anointed,
Transformed, Redeemed.
Wednesday, October 22nd starting at 6:00pm will be our Ladies Fun
Night. We start at 6:00pm, but come when you can and meet us in the
McCormack Center. We will have soups and chili.

Did You Know.... that citing support for the sovereignty of the people to decide
public policy, County Commissioners in Hamilton County voted to become the 20th
commission to adopt formal resolutions in support of Amendment 1? Hamilton joins
19 other counties where such a resolution has been passed including Bradley,
Campbell, Claiborne, Cocke, Fayette, Greene, Hickman, Jackson, Lewis, Macon,
McMinn, Meigs, Monroe, Morgan, Pickett, Putnam, Smith, Washington and Weakley
counties.
