KT has been joining in Jeju Island to build a Smart Grid infrastructure as a test bed to
demonstrate various concepts and to have a pre-field test since December 2009.
KT has a plan to prove an integrated home/building/Factory energy management
service and to improve energy usage efficiency by utilizing renewable energy and
energy restoration media in Smart Place area and Smart Transportation one.
