I am a rose plant. My friend and I grow in a garden. The gardener, Mr. Tee, has great affection for
me. He provides me with rich cow dung and other manure. He waters me daily. I produce pink roses which
smell very sweet. Every day the gardeners daughter plucks some of my flowers and outs them on her hair.
In her office, the clerks would admire my beauty.
A few months ago, my flowers were taken to be exhibited at a flower competition. There were so
many flowers at the show. I won the first prize. The judges were attracted to my beauty. My pink petals
