I am writing to you in support of Mihai Marin and his desire to attend International
Business program at your university. It is in my strong belief that Mihai is wellsuited for meeting requirements for higher education in economics and finance
and I highly recommend that he be given the opportunity to attend your
university.
Mihai is studying at George Cosbuc Bilingual College and I have been both his
mathematics teacher and class master for the past two years. Our high school
has received both international and national recognition, being involved in
multiple cultural projects such as Comenius. Moreover, it is ranked among top 5
high schools in Bucharest regarding the Baccalaureate promoting rate which I am
certain that Mihai will master with a top degree. I am predicting for him an overall
grade of .out of 10, in his Romanian Baccalaureate.
During the period Mihai has been my student I observed his natural abilities of
critical thinking and quick reactions in resolving tasks both mathematical and
social. He involves in class discussions on diverse themes denoting a wide
general knowledge and a capability to evoke logical and pertinent arguments.
Mihai has proven himself to be diligent when needed and has shown great
responsibility in managing the class finances which is his duty. With a constant
desire for self improvement he impresses with a great determination and a high
self confidence. From my interactions with Mihai, I discovered his persuasive skills
and dedication to his interests. He involved in several projects such as
Freshmens Prom organization team and an exchange project with a high school
from Spain which helped him develop a strong international thinking.
Furthermore, Mihai is constantly showing an out of the box thinking which helps
him considerably in the tasks that I deliver and is showing interests in a wide
area being present in all class activities at the opera or theatre. He has a very
good relationship with the teachers and classmates, being lively, respectful and
humorous. He keeps the team together and often impose himself as a good and
fair leader in team activities.
On the basis of the aforestated aspects, I strongly recommend Mihai Marin to
continue his studies at your university, intertwining the skills needed in
succeeding in the business area with the desire and determination essential for a
prospering career.
