Statement of Purpose

My name is Muhammad Ahmad Vohra, I am resident of Sargodha, Punjab. I have completed

my Ordinary levels from Beaconhouse in May 2014 and got an overall result of C grade.
Furthermore, I have completed my intermediate (HSSC) in September 2016. I have done my
English proficiency test (IELTS) in March 2017 from British Council Lahore, which got 2 months
of preparation.
I choose business for my further higher education purposes after detailed consultation with my
teachers and family. I belong to business family my father runs his construction business since
1994. I believe bachelor of business management will fulfill my purposes for my further studies.
Our country has ample of natural resources, our economy is booming due to CPEC (China-
Pakistan Economic Corridor) in which Chinese companies will invest $ 35 Million Dollar of
power plants and its relevant upcoming projects. So I am optimistic for our economy that its curve
will more shift positively upward.
After my HSSC I started studying my higher education in Pakistan. I enrolled myself in University
of Lahore for Bachelor of business administration (Bonafide letter attached). During my stay at
University of Lahore, I met different people with different ideas having foreign degrees from
which I was impressed to also have an international degree which is highly recognized over the
world. Here, the teaching methods are quite old fashioned and bookish. After studying in
Cambridge system I realized the importance of quality education which was missing in my
intermediate (HSSC) which cause me not perform up to the mark. I did my research and plan for
study abroad due to their education authencity and exposure. My father admires my thoughts show
his unconditional support for my studies. Out of all facts and figures I choose Germany due to its
education standard and freedom to choose the courses and make my own degree.
Germany is considered as the perfect destination for studying abroad with countries like UK,
USA, Canada and Australia. Studying with people from different cultures and socio-economic
backgrounds from all over the world is going to broaden my horizon and knowledge about other
cultures and countries and hopefully also eradicate some stereotypes and prejudice. It will grant
me more exposure and a chance to learn from the new experiences.
Germany is a symbol of technical excellence. As technical skills and excellence cannot be achieved
without excellent education, it is therefore a promising destination for higher education. The fact
that many of Germany’s institutions of higher education charge little or no tuition fee by
international comparison apprised me of the importance Germany holds in higher education. I also
value the fact that many breakthroughs industrial practices have been originally envisaged by
German establishments.
I intend to apply for Bachelors of Commerce at International University of Applied Sciences,
which is well ranked and accredited business school. Studying at IUBH is beneficial for me, all
their courses are taught in English and besides English I will be having an opportunity to learn
another foreign language which will enhance my exposure. IUBH stands for well-founded, sound

scientific study and focuses particularly on promoting the work ethic and service mentality of the
students.
My financial sponsor is my father Mr. Muhammad Aslam Vohra who runs his own Construction
Business. Along with that he opened my separated account Muslim Commercial Bank Pvt LTD
just to ensure my living expenditure in Germany. He has already shared his personal finances.
The affidavit of support and financial details are attached for reference.
I am interested to pursue my career in management and administration after completing my
degree from International University of Applied Sciences. Foreign graduates are always in high
demand in Pakistan. I strongly believe that this degree and time I will spent in Germany will
enable me to perform better in the future in all working capacities.
After competing my degree, I will come back to Pakistan to start service career in any business
department. In Pakistan, while getting a reasonable job any foreign qualified person is always
preferred and paid well. Also, Pakistan is in a desperate need for foreign qualified persons and
their skills for its development. So, in future when I’ll return I am sure to get a good position to
serve my country.
I look forward to work as administrator or as project manager capacity in companies like P&
G, Nestle, Axact Pvt Ltd, Engro Corporation. All the multinational firm have preference to have
foreign graduate on the basis of their exposure and communication skills. Earning advance
communication and other soft skills form Germany will translate in my profile and I will be good
resource for my country.
To recapitulate, it would be a matter of great pride for me to pursue my undergraduate studies at
your renowned institution to gain many academic strides and contribute my part in the research
area. I hope that considering my strong captivation to IUBH and consistent academic achievements
you will provide me the opportunity to be part of this rich interdisciplinary interface.

for Germany so I can continue my educational goals.
