Bullying Advert

It is proposed that the advertisement will be of 30 seconds duration, filmed at a


London house and edited at our Sutton facility.
The advertisement will be aimed at young teenagers, aged between 11-17
The advertisement will show a victim of bullying and how he overcame the
situation through the help of connextcast.
Several locations have been visited and a shortlist has been drawn up:
Suggested locations are:
London House
School
Park
The advertisement will include the following:
a) Close up of upset child on computer
b) Mid shot of message from bullying
c) Close up of child typing (seeking help)
d) Mid shot of boy on computer
e) Long shot of child at park on swings.

Structure

The Advertisement will be in colour, as well as black and white and in PAL 4:3.
The advertisement will start with a shot of a child explaining how he was a victim
of bullying.
Cut to

Past tense shot of child upset at computer


Cut to screen so we can see the message received from the bully
Cut to shot of same child at park (present)
Information shown about how to deal with cyber bullying.

Budget
Planning meeting: 92 (full day)
Filming, 3 day hire for the following: 69 lens, 450 camera, 75 tripod,
114 lighting, 45 green screen
Editing: Editing suit 525
Subtotal 1278
Production Contingency @10%
Travel Expenses @40p per mile = 4
Total production budget = 1282
Schedule
The production will be produced within the timescale that will be indicated by our
shooting and editing schedules. Connextcast will ensure that all location filming
is carefully planned to take into account the safety of the crew and the general
public and any production contingencies. The finished Advertisement will be
available for viewing at an appropriate time in order for any changes to be made
before the suggested release date.
Sources of requirements
I will be obtaining my equipment from the company as well as props
and costumes. I will be hiring freelance actors, from people per hour.
Guarantee of Satisfaction

Initial discussion on the Advertisement content will take place.

Production equipment will be used in a safe operational manner at all


times.

Connextcast is covered by Public Liability Insurance to the sum of


1,000,000.

A copy of all rushes will be supplied on request in DVD format.

A rough cut version of the advertisement will be supplied for inspection


and discussion.

A meeting to discuss the final master version will be organised with a


focus group of interested parties.

The completed advertisement will be provided on DVD for inspection.

The completed advertisement will not be released until the client is


completely satisfied with technical quality and content.
