Thank
you
for
a
Truly
Magical
Casino
Night
“I wanted to tell you how much fun we all had on Saturday. It was a fantastic night and the event
chairs did an amazing job transforming the space into a high rolling casino! The food was so good (I
wanted a huge tray so I could load up once and not have to sneak back 35 times.) My favorite was
the ice sculpture martini bar. It was so fun and I just wanted to say thank you. I don't know how to get
a Congrats on a job well done to the awesome Ways and Means crew who put on the
Magical Masquerade.”
Robin Nardoni (parent)

Do you have old cell phones, ink cartridges, and other unused handheld devices?
Starting this week and continuing through April St. Rita school will be collecting these
items for Get Green to Get Green, a company specialized in recycling cell phones. We will
send in boxes of old electronics and in return, we will be sent a check that will help us bet-
ter our community and environment.
For more information visit getgreentogetgreen.com or contact your Student Council Community Service
Chair, Kacey Benson, at Kaceybenson@Gmail.com
Thank You!

Our Civic Duty and Privilege

On April 13, 2010 the residents of Sierra Madre will elect new city council members. VOTE- no matter what
side you are on. And most importantly know why you are voting for the candidates of your choice. Sierra Ma-
dre has suffered rough times politically in the past because the citizens left the election of city officials to a few.
We now know that doesn’t work. Listen to the candidates but most importantly find out whom they are repre-
senting. This village is the last remaining gem in Los Angeles County and every vote counts.
Opportunities to meet the candidates and hear their platforms:
Monday, March 8, 6:30 to 8:30 – Candidates Forum, City Hall (Televised)
Thursday, March 11, 5:00 to 7:30 – Chamber of Commerce Forum
At the Women’s Club ($15)
Tuesday, March 16, 1:00 to 3:00 – Candidates Forum, Kiwanis
