OBITUARY
Margaret Murr
Margaret
Cora
Murr, 80, of Glasgow,
Montana, passed away
Thursday, November 26,
2015 at Frances Mahon
Deaconess
Hospital,
surrounded by her family.
A Funeral Mass will
be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday,
December 1, 2015 at St. Raphaels Catholic Church
in Glasgow with Father Jose Valliparambil officiating.
Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery in Glasgow.
Visitation will take place Monday, November 30th at
Bell Mortuary from 2-5 with family receiving friends
and family from 4-5 p.m. A rosary will be prayed at
6:00 p.m. at St. Raphaels Catholic Church.
Margaret was born April 2, 1935 in Glasgow,
Montana, to Glen and Virginia (McGillis) Wagar. She
married Leo L. Murr on October 12, 1954 at St. Raphaels
and the couple made their home in Glasgow. She was a
member of St. Raphaels Catholic Church.
Margaret will be remembered for her big smile.
She loved to crochet and embroider, and play bingo
and pinochle. She also loved to dance. She never
missed a sporting event; especially when it came to
her grandchildrens participation in the activity. She
could be found in the front row with pom poms in
hand, cheering on every player and letting the officials
know when they made a bad call. Margaret was truly
dedicated to her husband and family, she took pride in
everything they did.
In her Bible she had written, Whenever I have a
child, grandchild, or great-grandchild in my presence
I am the happiest, they are all gifts from God. Another
quote that was found is, Dont worry about anything,
give it to God, hes up all night anyway. She loved the
Lord with all her heart and showed it in all she did. She
will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Margaret is survived by her loving husband of 61
years, Leo Murr; children, Gwen (Dean) Hawkins of
Glasgow, Leo (Diane) Murr of Wahpeton, North Dakota,
Valerie (Chuck) Barstad of Glasgow, and Kent Murr of
Glasgow, 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death are her parents, Glen and
Virginia Wagar; brother, Gordon; sister, Tiny; son,
Trent Murr, granddaughter, Amy Murr, and son-in-law,
Curtis Johnson.

How
about those Grizzlies?
The University of Montana rolled to a 24-0 halftime
lead and held off the South Dakota State Jack Rabbits 2417 in the first round of the NCAA Football Championship
Subdivision playoffs.
14, 575 fans packed Washington-Grizzly Stadium on
Saturday, the most of any FCS game in the country that
day. With the UM students still largely out of town for the
Thanksgiving Holiday, the Grizzly faithful nearly doubled
the next highest attended game at Northern Iowa, which
saw a crowd of 7,062.
Things are getting a bit tougher now as they head
to the Fargodome where North Dakota State is the No. 3
overall seed and received a first-round bye.
Game time is set for 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, December
5th and can be watched on ESPN3.
This is North Dakota States sixth straight appearance
in the FCS playoffs. NDSU is 18-1 in the FCS playoffs
including four straight national championships and a
quarterfinal appearance in 2010. The Bison are 13-0 at
home in the FCS playoffs. The Bison, 9-2 overall, lost a
38-35 thriller in Missoula in the season opener. Their only
other loss was a 24-21 setback at home to South Dakota.
The 16th-ranked Grizzlies are now 8-4 and have put
up 135 points in their last three games with the return of
quarterback Brady Gustafson, who missed six games in
the middle of the season. Montana is 0-1 in Fargo with a
22-10 loss last season.

Harold Lindell put some venisson in his freezer as he had a great hunt on Wednesday
between Tampico and Vandalia on Block Management. I had to jump the fence
before I could shoot him, he was in eating grain, Harold said, adding, I seen him
and another buck. The other one was bigger, but I like the meat! One shot with his
30-06 did the job. And then it was a mere 10-yard drag to load the 4x5 muley up
to conclude the hunt. That was the best part, he said. it was pretty easy. Harold
says his favorite part of venison is the backstraps. I eat em like candy! he said.
Wed have to agree with him. Nice hunting, Harold!
