Term dates for 2016-2017 have now
been confirmed. Please find more
details on the back of this newsletter.
Please can I remind all families that
holidays must be booked outside of
term time. Extended leave is very
rarely granted. Taking children out of
school during term time can result in
fines and the child loosing their school
place.

Day and the last day of term!
Christmas Jumper Day will help raise
money for Text Santa who work on behalf
of Macmillan Cancer Care, Make a Wish
Foundation and Save the Children. We are
asking for children to bring 1.00 to wear
a Christmas jumper.

CHRISTMAS IS COMING!
Christmas is just around the corner, and
were very excited! Here are some key
dates for your diary about the upcoming festivities.
SCHOOL CHOIR

SPELLING BEE
First we had the Maths Magician, and
then Penny the Pencil...and now, we
have our new favourite character the
Spelling Bee!

The Spelling Bee (who looks


suspiciously like Mr Langley!) will be
testing children on their spellings each
half-term. Children will be given a
practise book and a list of key spellings.
Following their success, the children will be Children who have gone the extra mile
performing at the Bradford School Proms
to practise will take part in the Bowling
and also putting on their own production

ATTENDANCE
In a few weeks time, we will be holding
our first attendance assembly of the year.
The assembly will celebrate all the children
who have made every day count!
Coming to school every day is an essential
life skill which means you will make good
progress and build friendships. Children
who have fantastic attendance can also
win exciting prizes! This term, the prizes
on offer are Kindle Fires and fun board
games.
