PTA
Have you seen the letter sent home this week by
the PTA about the Christmas fair? We are all
looking forward to our biggest fundraiser of the
school year. Dont forget the non-uniform day next
Friday 28 November where children can wear their
own clothes. All we would ask is a donation for the
hampers or the tombola.
Please note the film night scheduled for next
week has been postponed.
Year 3 and 4 Music and Dance Workshop
There was a real treat for Year 3 and 4 this week
as they enjoyed a morning of music and dance. This
was all based on the Alice musical which is being
performed in Chester at the Theatre in the Quarter
this Christmas. You can find out more information
here http://theatreinthequarter.co.uk/alice Here are
a few pictures from the morning there are lots
more on the whole school community page on the
school website.

Christmas Charity
Christmas is a time of the year when it just seems really special to work in a Primary School and as
usual we have lots planned. As a school we have chosen a charity to support this Christmas, through
things such as retiring collections at the end of the KS1 nativities, staff donating instead of giving
Christmas cards and the choir busking at Marks and Spencers. We have chosen the charity Reverse Rett
this year. Rett Syndrome is neurological or brain disorder which most often affects apparently healthy
little girls around the age of 6-18 months. You can find out
more about it here http://www.reverserett.org.uk/ We have
chosen this charity as it directly affects one of our families in
school. Thank you for supporting us in our charity fundraising this year.
