1UWRT 1103, Personal Literacy Project Reflection

Please provide a short response to each following question or statement.
1. How did you decided to divide up the contents of your project, the composition verses the visual? Why so? How is
your division important to me for consideration in grading/evaluating your project?
I feel like my visual portion of the project focuses more on consumerism within the Student Union and my paper focuses
on what consumerism literacy is and how it directly impacts the union and students. So while grading, just know that
everything gets discussed at some point, if its not in the paper its in the board game and vise versa.
2. What do you want me to consider as I review your medium choice? If nothing else, tell me about your risk taking.
I want you to consider how difficult it was to make a game board. In general, I am pretty artistic. But, this was really hard
to do and marker kept smearing. So even though it isnt the most aesthetically pleasing I did work really hard on it for a
very long time.
3. Influence me further as to what to focus most upon during grading: what do you want weighed most in your favor as I
grade your project? Why?
I feel like my visual piece helps explain my practicum and literacy more than my paper. I am a very visual person so I feel
that I do better explaining things through visual mediums than by writing.
4. What would you like to change or to work on more, if you had the chance? Why so?
I wish I had more resources to make my game board, it had the potential to be much more aesthetically pleasing. I also
wish I was a better writer so that I could explain my thoughts to you better.
5. Based upon what you have been assigned, verses what you have completed, what grade does your work justify?
Why?
I honestly think I deserve an A, I worked very hard on all aspects of this project and think my hard work is reflected in my
work.
