January...a new year, a fresh start, a new
beginning. The Childrens Dept. is back to
their normal schedule! Special nights on
Wednesday are: Make a Joyful Noise Night
(Jan. 20th), and everyone's favorite, S'mores
Night (Jan. 27th). We will also be returning this
month to our typical Sunday evening schedule
with BLAST (Bible Learning and Skills Time)
beginning at 5:00 p,m. in Room 212. We also
have a Bible study during the 6:00 pm hour.

7th Annual Fundraiser for

Neighborhood Christian Center
Tickets for the Soup for Souls fundraiser event on
March 3rd are $30. It benefits the Neighborhood
Christian Centers Children and Youth programs.
Tickets purchased in advance (by Feb. 26th) are
guaranteed a hand painted soup bowl at the event.
Those who buy their ticket at the door will receive a
hand painted soup bowl on a first come first serve
basis. If they would like to paint their own bowl for the
event, they can come to the Neighborhood Christian
Center to paint a bowl (by Feb. 26th) that they will use

Join us Sunday mornings in our coffee and tea room located in Room 106. We are open from 8:40
to 9:20 a.m. but coffee is available until 10:20. We have coffee, tea, other beverages, and refreshments. January refreshments are provided by Chuck LaMars class and Geno Shireys class will
provide the refreshments in February.

Disaster Relief Training

If you are interested in being a part of the Disaster Relief Team there will be a training session
February 5th and 6th at Emmanuel Baptist
Church in Athens. Contact Geno for more information and to register.

CCC Soup KitchenFeb. 18th

We will be preparing the food for the CCC Soup
Kitchen on Thursday, February 18th. Donations
to help purchase the food would be appreciated.
You can place your donation in the offering

check for CCC SOUP KITCHEN. Please see
Sharon Shirey if you are interested in helping
serve the food at the CCC.

Adult Fellowship Breakfast

Cooks Museum of Natural Science. The museum is scheduled to open in 2017. Bring your
