Benjamin Franklin said, Be at war with your vices; at peace with your neighbors, and let every New

Year find you a better man. It is my prayer that 2011 will find us all better people. Let us be found better in our giving, more diligent in our attendance, more spontaneous in our witness, and more devoted to our Lord. Henry Ward Beecher said, Every man should be born again on the first day of January. Start with a fresh page. Take up one hole more in the belt buckle if necessary, or let down one, according to circumstances; but on the first of January let every man gird himself once more, with his face to the front, and take no interest in the things that were and are past. We will enter 2011 thanking God for what lies ahead and leaving with God what is behind. We will start anew with new determination and new dedication to the Lord. 2011 will bring challenges we will turn into opportunities. It will bring blessings that we will receive and share. I am looking forward to the coming year and to being a part of Gods great work at the First Baptist Church of Bainbridge. I am excited that together we will worship and serve the Lord in this, His house. I am looking forward to seeing each of you in Sunday School and worship this Sunday. Paul
