The Jackson Police Department has made a third arrest in connection with the robbery of
Trustmark Bank at 190 E. Capital St. that occurred on January 21, 2016.
On Friday, February 5, 2016, Robbery/Homicide Detectives extradited Lisa Benjamin from
Atlanta, GA. She was arrested and charged with Accessory after the Fact of Bank Robbery for
being in possession of the stolen money and having knowledge of the scheme to rob the bank.
She was booked into the City Jail and is awaiting an Initial Court Appearance.
