Rose Williams, Charlottesville
native, was crowned Ms. Wheel-
chair Virginia 2008-2009 at the
annual program that was held on
April 12, 2008 at Woodrow Wil-
son Rehabilitation Center in
Fishersville, Virginia. Rose Wil-
liams is a published poet/essayist
and motivational speaker, and
can be found frequently present-
ing poetry workshops and
speeches to various special needs

How To Clean Your Shower
Steps
Empty it out.
Remove your shampoo bottles, loo-
fahs, razor, and other items. You
don't want to get cleaning products
on these things. Dump them into a
bucket or just put them on your
counter for now. Be sure to grab the
bath mat or non-stick floor stickers, if on Plastic

Begin with a rinse. Using some type of
bucket, cup, watering can, or pitcher,
rinse the walls and floor of your

How To Clean
Put all toiletries and per-
sonal items that belong
in the bathroom in their
proper places, most
likely drawers and cabi-
nets.
Close the drawers and
cabinets, and then take
all other items out of
the bathroom. This in-
cludes stuff that doesn't
belong in the bathroom,
such as clothing, but
keep in mind that your
job will be easier if you
remove the wastebas-
ket, toilet-brush caddy,
etc.
Put all dirty clothes in the
hamper or bring to
washer and dryer if
laundry is being done
that day.
Start with the toilet. Pour in
some bleach (be sure
to read the warnings
below or you might not
have to worry about
anything again, includ-
ing cleaning your bath-
room) or bowl cleaning
solution and let it sit.
Some toilet cleansers
come in a bottle that is
shaped to get the solu-
tion under the rim;
these are very handy,
but if you don't have
any, ordinary bleach
will do wonders. You
can come back to this
later; let the disinfectant
do its job for 20-30 min-
utes. Afterward, if a
copper rotoruter has
been used previously to
unclog the toilet, use an

Its not that hard to pass room inspections. There are some simple expectations
every student has to follow in order to pass their room inspection.
Room expectations are:
• Bed made; with clean sheets and pillowcases on bed.
• Sink area and mirror free from streaks and dirt. Personal supplies organized
and on your side of the room.
• Laundry completed and clean clothes put away - either hung up in the
closet, places in drawers or neatly folded on closet shelves.
• Dirty clothes stored properly; separate from clean clothes.
• Floor swept or mopped; no obvious dirt, food or trash.
• Desk, Table, and Lockbox dust free and organized.
• Trash Can(s) empty and free from food items.
• Hallway Duty completed as assigned

Mix milk and chicken
broth. Tear the bread into

Read blogs. Opinions abound everywhere on the internet. Read as many as you
want and be sure to give your opinion in the comment sections
Use social web sites to network with people you used to know. Find your entire
high school graduating class so you can laugh at how fat everyone is now.
Have a hobby? Create a folder in your bookmarks and link in all of the top sites
for your hobby. Register for the forums and spend time talking to others about
your hobby. This is one of those that you need to be weary of not learning some-
thing new. But, if you just talk about your hobby and not do it, it’s a time waster.
Join an email list with people who enjoy griping about the government and fol-
low along carefully.
Start a search for how you are related to someone who came over on the May-
flower.

Life Fades Away Life just fades away and time passes us by.
By: Angela Bean Time passes us by and we're only left standing there wondering
why.
Life just fades away. Life is so hard and it can be unfair.
And we're standing there wondering where the time went. We're just standing there as life fades away.
Life changes so quickly and it fades away. We don't have a second to think let alone a minute to cry.
We wonder who we've become. Life fades away, and sometimes we just want to die.
Time is like a grain of salt in an hour glass. This is life.
It quickly fades away. We live and we die.
We wonder what we'll become. We've lived half our lives as tortured souls.
But life rushes by us so fast. Screaming so loud on inside that no one can hear us at all.
That we're standing there wondering where time went. Life fades away.
Life changes right in front of our eyes. Where did the time go?
We feel like someone else in a disguise. Time passes us by as life fades away.
We try to make our way through the path. Busy going so fast we don't have a second to stop and breathe.
But we only end up losing our way. We live our lives always in a hurry.
Life just fades away. Time fades away as we just continue to worry.
We're only left lost and confused. Where did our lives go?
Time just passes us by; we don’t know what to do. Life fades away and we don't know what happened to our life.
And we don't know what happened to our lives. Seems we have no time to just stop and breathe.
People change and people move on with their lives. Time passes us by.
Friends lost over time. And life fades away.
Life fades away and time passes by us so quickly. Life just fades away.
We don't know what is going on. Yeah our life just fades away.
The world just seems to crumble at our feet as life fades away.
And we're only left standing there in the dark.
As time passes us by and life quickly fades away.
Sometimes we just don't know what to do.
We wonder what will be our career.
As we're standing there and life kicks us in the rear.
Time passes so fast by us.
And life fades away.
It's like we're stuck in a dream.
Because life is fading away and time is passing us by.
We don't have time to even stop and blink.
Life just fades away and all we can do is try to stop and think.
Time goes by so fast.
We don't even get a minute or a second to stop and breathe.
Our lives are just fading away.
We're like the waves that come crashing down.
Soon we'll just get so caught up and crash and burn
