The opening prayer was led by Ms. Rose Anne Dela Rosa.

A. Election of Officers

Ms. Rose Anne Dela Rosa gave a simple introduction to the new faces of
21
English-Filipino Club members. She mentioned that being the new moderator of
22
the club is a big challenge. The election started from the president to year level
23
representatives. The following list of newly elected officers school year 201324

After the election, the officers were given a chance to speak to what will

be their accomplishment as newly elected student leaders. They were instructed

by Ms. Dela Rosa that the Oath-taking Rites and Connaissance Party will be on
42
July 3, 2013.

B. Membership Fee
45
The membership fee was a mandate that all club organizations will have
46
an equal payment of Php 15.00 as stated on the Constitution and By-laws of
47
SSG, together with the monthly dues of Php 5.00. As agreed during the
48
moderators meeting, 30% of the accumulated fee will be taken as part of the
49
contribution of each club. The amount must be used for additional fund of the
50
SSGs project.

C. Other Matters

The officers and its members discussed also on the upcoming event on
54
July 3, 2013 wherein each club should prepare an intermission number either
55
rendering a song or a dance piece. Many of us were excited on that particular
56
activity.

With no more matter to be discussed the meeting ended with a closing prayer led

by Ms. Rose Ann Dela Rosa at exactly 5:00 pm.

Praise be God in you!
In line with the DepED Memorandum No. 308, s. 2006, Conduct a Read a-thon
Reading Contests in each school, the English Filipino Club will be launching a
READ A THON for Secondary level on January 16, 2012. The contest aims to:
a. Determine the best individual and team reader among the secondary
students;
b. Foster a reading culture among students;
c. Enhance the reading ability of students and;
d. Support the existing reading program of the school.
For SY 2011 2012, the Read a thon will be conducted in both English and
Filipino. The Content Areas and participants to this contest are as follows:
A. Oral Reading Interpretation (1st yr 4th yr)
B. Team Reading (1st yr 4th yr)
C. Story Retelling (1st yr 4th yr)
D. Battle of the Brains (Vocabulary Reading Quiz & Literary Quiz)
(1st yr 4th yr)
Attached are the guidelines and mechanics for the implementation of the contest.
