Three Types of Muscles:

throughout the body
Cardiac - responsible for contracting the heart
and pumping blood throughout the body

Skeletal - responsible for movement of body parts

arm
Biceps brachii - helps control the motion of the
shoulder and the elbow
Deltoid - stops dislocation and injury of the
humerus and is responsible for arm rotation

Interaction

Muscle receptors send the brain information about body position and movement.
The brain controls the contraction and movement of muscles.
The nervous system controls the speed at which muscles move food through the
digestive tract.
Digestive System:
Muscles contract to push food through the intestines.
