F437 Reach out to the CCS

"Bago man lang sana tayo mag-graduate may magawa tayo" one of my
classmate said in our normal conversation which made us to decide to push through
our outreach program.

We choose the CCS because they have been our partner in maintaining the
cleanliness and orderliness of our school. They are the hardworking individuals that
made our stay here in our school a comfortable one. With their untiring efforts we
decided to do an activity. We might not be able to pay back their efforts but
somehow we wanted to give them a little break by making them smile.

Our program started with a prayer lead by Ranhella Shaira Gomez followed
by the opening remarks by our class president Angenica Tamayo. The activity is
hosted by Paulo Maniti and Kamille Feih Gonzales. After welcoming our guests, we
started our games. The CCS personnel were all participative. Our first game was
pinoy henyo. The words they have to figure out were all related to their working
environment like walis tambo, classroom and mop. We can see all their laughters
whenever someone gets the correct answer, of course winners get prizes like
Tupperware and food. Second game was the boat is sinking, this is the part that all
of our personnel enjoyed and all of them participated. In this game we had 5
winners and they got tumblers.

After our energetic parlor games, some of our classmates started distributing
the lunch. It composes of chicken barbecue, buttered vegetables and rice and
banana for their desert. During our games and lunch, we conducted a raffle. Most of
them got minor prizes but for our grand prizes we got 2 special gifts, 5 kilos of rice,
canned goods and grocery items. After eating, each one of us gave them hygiene kit
that they can use and can help them avoid illness due to the nature of their work.
We also gave a token to the eldest member, she is Ate Amy she is already 56 years
old and to the personnel that had the highest score in the evaluation his name is
Kuya Jose. We can't hide our inner happiness that we felt as we watch them because
they are so appreciative of our small effort.

Before we end, Mr. Edward Cai Lao, lead man of the CCS expressed their
gratitude through his closing remarks. He said that even though we are already
graduating we did not forget them. He thanked us and congratulated us. After
which, we had picture taking with our CCS personnel. Everyone gave a round of
applause as we end the activity.
