1) 58 students from Form 1 to 4 attended a 3-day, 2-night student leadership camp from August 18-20 at Pusako Batu Kikir Camp in Kuala Pilah to be selected as prefects for the 2022/2023 session and improve their physical, discipline, and mental strengths.

Last August 18 to 20, a Student Leadership Camp program at Pusako Batu Kikir Camp, Kuala Pilah. This year, Puan Farah Adila and Puan Suraiya have been assign to be the assistant for this program and other teachers who are responsible. This Leadership Camp was attended by 58 participants consisting of students from form one to form four who were in trial session for prefect this year. The objective of this program is to select prefect who meet all the criteria and improve the physical, discipline and mental strength of the probation prefect who have to handle more than 800 students for the 2022/2023 session. On Thursday 18 August 2022, all participants gathered at the school assembly square as early as 8.00 am to register to check the student's attendance. Due to technical problems, the departure time is postponed to 10.00 am. We arrived at the campsite at noon by boarding a school bus and van. At 12.30 in the afternoon, a briefing was given on the rules and prohibited areas of the camp and there were terms introduced by the camp, namely "grenade" and "sniper”. We had to lie down on the ground with both hands on the back of our heads when the instructors said "grenade," and when they said “sniper” we had to disappear from their sight. While the briefing was being given, there was a surprise inspection by the camp. After that, we were allowed to enter our accommodation and went straight to the dining hall for lunch . After eating, we all have to gather at the dewan terbuka for a briefing about the slot we will do, and we were handed trustworthy goods like a water bottle and a headband. We have to hand in the things by the end of the camps and if one of the things is missing, you will be punished. Before the activities started we were distributed into 5 groups and each group has to create their cheers and name. After that, we played a game that required efficiency and speed. First, we played a game that's called bird cage, birds and hunter egg, and then we played a game called chicken, Godzilla, and Ultraman this game required a lot of luck because without it you cannot win it. Our team activity started after tea breaks, the minigame required a lot of teamwork and communication between teammates Next, we have to mentally prepare for the night activity, which is the night walk in the middle of the jungle. After the maghrib prayer, there is a little talk and waiting for the evening prayer. The owl night activity starts at 9.45 pm and the activity ends with a little reflection On the next day, August 19, 2022, Muslim students will perform dawn prayer at 6.15 am led by students and a lecture by an Ustaz. Morning activities start at 6.55 am with some aerobic exercise and breakfast from 7.15 to 7.30 am. After that, the "flying fox" activity started with a short briefing about the safety and how to use it and, the students, were required to climb the hill to get to the "flying fox" tower. The trainer said the length of the "flying fox" is 140 meters long and is the highest in Malaysia. Because time is not on our side, we had to have breakfast at the tower. The activity was completed before 12.30 in the afternoon and gave way to Adam's people to go and perform Friday prayers. At 2.00 the activity continues with the activities jungle tracking through the deep forest. During the fishing session, we were required to catch catfish for our afternoon tea. Unpredictable, my group got 8 fish and my team got award for getting the most fish. others and some groups did not succeed in catching a single fish. The fish needs to be cooked and grilled. The activity ends at 6.15 pm and it is required to gather in the dining hall at 6.45 pm for dinner. After that, Muslim students pray and listen to lectures. At 9.00 o'clock the cultural night activities started with the singing of my country's song. After that, many performances were performed according to the given theme of independence. Among the performances performed are recitation of poems, poems, singing of patriotic songs, a show of diverse costumes, and singing of patriotic songs . After that, we were allowed to have a drink and asked to gather again in the open hall. At that moment, we were allowed to share our feelings about the event and there was a story told by the coach about the previous night's activities. We all started to rest at 12.30 pm. On the last day which is dated 20 August 2022, the atmosphere is a bit gloomy because it is the last day. At 7.00 am we started the activity by warming up first because we had to run 2.4 kilometres around the camp area. After the run was done, we went to breakfast and gathered in the open hall at 7.30 am to start the activity of testing confidence in the water using personal life jackets. Two activities are done, namely kayak and water confident. After the activity, we have to packed our bag and prepare ourselves to attend to the closing ceremony. Before the ceremony took place, we did a little experiment so that no mistakes were made. The ceremony was conducted by the teacher and I was assign to give the gift to the principal . After the ceremony ends, Muslim students have to perform the Zuhor prayer first before boarding the bus to go home. We safely arrived at school at 3.30 pm. I am very grateful be able to involved in this Leadership Camp. This camp has broadened the way of thinking in my daily life. By participating in this camp, the students can improve their performance and time management . We also managed to overcome weaknesses and be able to improve the value of leadership in ourselves. To be a good leader it is always necessary to be positive such as teamwork and being good at solving problems quickly. As a student, I hope that I can be a successful leader that can lead all the students well and be respect by all people.
