1. The Ascendant is the main attracting force in a relationship, and the Sun is what is
being attracted. The most notable combination between the sexes is the woman's

This man will be drawn to this woman, and the woman will feel the positive

2. The Moon describes our emotions, moods, and daily habits. In order for two

The six masculine signs(fire and air) harmonize with one another, but not with the six
feminine signs(earth and water). Signs in their own element are particularly

3. Mercury is our way of communicating. In order for two people to communicate

Planets to the Ascendant

The most immediate and observable influences in any relationship are those of one
person's planets to the other person's Ascendant -by sign or element(the closeness of
degree intensifies the effect). Your Ascendant or Rising sign, being the fastest moving
factor in astrology(Earth's rotation), is the most sensitive part of you, immediately

Moon to the Ascendant: Someone's Moon in the same sign or element or even gender
as your Ascendant makes you feel homey and moody bringing your emotions to the

Sun to Sun: indicates the life goals and long-term or spiritual compatability, what is
truly important to either person and what makes them happy. Sun/Sun is an important
