Curriculum

Bible: This week we will study Gods people leaving Egypt. Then we will talk
about how Gods people sinned, needed Judges, and finally received a King.
Writing: Students are finishing their final draft of their Flat Stanley
letter.
Reading: We will be reading a nonfiction piece about firefighters and
forest fires. We will be working on the subject of sentences, suffixes,
and main idea/details.
Vowac: Students will take a unit test and begin learning the ways to spell
long a using the vowel teams ai and ay.
Math: Students will be using patterns on a hundreds chart and taking a
unit test.
Science: We will be comparing the life cycle of a butterfly with the life
cycle of a frog.
