    What We are Learning
    Important Information

    Reading
    This week we will be focusing on cause and effect.
    We will also review all of the concepts we have
    learned so far.
    Word Study
    This week we will be working on commonly
    misspelled words that the students use frequently in
    their writing. Please check the Homework Corner for
    a list of words.
    Writing
    Finishing our courage writing, and working on our
    Explorers project.
    Math
    This week we are finishing our unit on 2-digit by 2digit multiplication. We will begin division this week.

    Science
    We are finishing our Matter Unit! We are so excited
    to finish our projects and show how much we have
    learned so far.
    STEM
    All our designs are built! Stay tuned for awesome
    videos of our actual drop!
    Social Studies
    We are beginning our first unit on Explorers this
    week! Students will be choosing a project to
    complete on one of the explorers. Students will be
    given time in class to work, but may be bringing
    unfinished work home. Please remember projects
    are due Thursday!

    SSPs will be held on Wednesday and Thursday


    night. If you are concerned about your childs grade
    please schedule an appointment online. Please also
    know that you are welcome to call or e-mail with
    any concerns
    DARE permission slips are being sent home this
    week. Please sign and return them as quickly as
    possible. If your child has lost theirs please check
    the class website for an extra copy.
