Coming Attractions

Word Study: In word study this week we are

working with contractions and when to take letters
away when adding an apostrophe.
Reading: In reading this week students are focusing
on tracking a characters actions throughout the
story.
Writing: In Writing, students writing a narrative
(letter) to a crayon. They have been reading the book,
The Day the Crayons Quit.
Math: In math, the students have started Chapter 3.
This chapter is all about multiplication and the
strategies we can use to solve multiplication problems.
Social Studies: In Social Studies this week, the
students are continuing to learn about early
Connersville History.

Thank you to everyone who has returned a conference form! If you
haven't, please try to do so before fall break I am excited to try a new format
with conferences this year!
Dont forget that tomorrow is our field trip! We are very excited to have
a fun filled day! Please help remind your child of the proper field trip procedures, so
that we do not have any behavior issues.
