Peer feedback, have a peer look over your investigation. Is each step
clear? Could you perform their experiment from how they have it written?
Time to perform experiment of their investigation. Remember this is for
marks, make sure each step is clear, have a peer read over it and give
advice.
If finish, hand in, read 8J.4 page 116-118 #1-13

Conclusion: what did you observe into the strength of an electromagnet?

Investigation due Monday(Notes, review, )

Work on text questions if completed investigation.
Self-Evaluation / Reflection:
I have had to reorganize some things for better flow. This assessment will take longer than I had
thought, Since they have a week to complete homework, they also have more class time to work on it
as well. The test will have to wait until after the break, we will just focus on the experiment in these
final classes before the break. Students can only have one task at a time in IB, which will work just

fine. Today in class the students worked on their planning. They worked better when the other
teacher was also in the room, when she left it was harder for them to stay focused. It was also the
end of the day so they were ready for the weekend. They were still able to get what they needed to
done. They had a peer review their work, some wanted to make revisions for homework instead of
hand it in. 2 students handed it in at the end of class.
