Experience
14 Years of Oracle PL/SQL Development. Converted data from WANG indexed files to Oracle
tables at the George Washington University for the Banner System using SQL*Loader, wrote
programs that used the Oracle database using the SQR, an interpretive language, as well as Unix
scripts to achieve the goals in addition to standardized user and technical documentations.
Coded and modified Triggers, Functions, Stored Procedures and Packages. Two (2) years of
COBOL development using the WANG, IBM at the GWU. Five (5) years of development using C,
Pro*C, Unix, SQR, Oracle starting at GWU. Six (6) months of Installing Oracle databases: one (1)
month at BancTec on HP Unix, and five (5) at Orkand on NT Servers; in addition, converted the
immigration data from WANG to Oracle at the US embassies and/or consulates outside of the US.
Designed the database objects needed and developed the Tracking System for the DHS USFDA
for the DDMAC (Division of Drug Marketing, Advertising, and Communications) using Forms 4.0
and DCL on a DEC system.

necessary information from an Oracle 9i replicated database, and finally replace a legacy

As a contractor at National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, facilitates meeting with
several Regional Offices of National Marine Fisheries Service, to consolidate differing trade

monitoring programs and to identify trade participation and authorize shipment activities, in
support of the goal to fully integrate all regions into International Trade Data System. Responsible
for developing and writing business requirements to incorporate all blanket fishing permits into
the International Trade Permit System (ITPS), a Web application written in JSP and Oracle. Wrote a
package for the ST6 group which queried Fisheries data.

Supports FDA production COMIS (Centerwide Oracle Management Information System); provide
SQL, PL/SQL, SQR (Structured Query Report Writer) to create reports in VMS (A Digital Equipment
Corporation operating system Virtual Memory System) DCL (Digital Command Language) and
some Oracle Developer 2000 v4.5 modifications in character mode. Developed a tracking system

Team-worked with a talented group in supporting OpenArchive, a proprietary software product
for electronic document imaging business applications, developed by BancTec Systems, Inc.
Configured and maintained Oracle Discoverer. Supported end users, analyzed their
requirements. Designed and programmed reports. Coded Selective Archive for the Federal
Reserve as an enhancement to the product (earning BancTec an additional $18,000 in funds).
Wrote Informix SQL Procedures, and Unix scripts for the companys customers such as the
