TUPE Meeting!
All 6th
, 7th
, & 8th
graders interested in joining the TUPE club must
attend a short meeting in room 33 after school today from 2:40-3:00
PM.
Halloween Dance
The Halloween Dance is THIS Friday, October 28th from 5:00-7:00pm
in the gym. Get your costumes ready! Remember, you CANNOT have
masks, blood, or weapons as part for your costume. Pre-Sale Tickets
will be sold for $7.00 Oct 24-27, before and after school at the
student office. Tickets at the door will be $9.00. Permission slips will
be available in advisory this week and the student office!There will be
a DJ, snacks, and games! Dont miss out!!
CJSF Meeting
Tuesday, October 25 during B-Lunch in Room 53 (drama room).
Community Service opportunities will be discussed.
3rd ANNUAL BRENTWOOD TURKEY TROT FOR SCHOOLS
Last year there were 1,042 participants and we raised $15,000 for the
Brentwood Union School District AND $15,000 for the Liberty Union
High School District.
WHAT: 10K & 5K run great for the whole family!
WHEN: Thanksgiving morning at 8:00 AM
WHERE: Both courses begin and end at The Streets of Brentwood
WHY: All proceeds benefit the athletic programs at both the
Brentwood and Liberty school districts (check on our website to see
how the money has been spent).
REGISTER EARLY!!! Fees increase on November 1st , and there is no
guarantee of receiving a t-shirt for those who register after October
31st .

WE COULD USE YOUR HELP. If you dont want to walk or run, but are
interested in volunteering to help with this years event, please email

Red Ribbon Week
Red Ribbon Week is next week, October 24-28! To bring awareness to
this important event, we will have a Spirit Week with an Anti-Drug
theme!
Monday: Hugs Not Drugs! Wear PJs and bring a Stuffed Animal
Tuesday: We are Drug Free! Wear Red
Wednesday: Peace-Out Drugs! Wear hippie or tie dye gear.
Thursday:

The Futures too Bright for Drugs! Wear White/Neon


Friday: Team Up Against Drugs! Wear a Jersey or Sports T-shirt
Posters!
The Book Fair Posters are on clearance for only $4 each in the library.
Theres only 1 copy of each, so first come, first served. Consider a
purchase for a holiday gift! Dont let it be a missed opportunity!!!

There has been a change to two of this quarters Enrichment Classes.

Willy Wonka Jr. Rehearsal Schedule for this week:
We have 4 rehearsals this week Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
and Thursday. Please note only Wednesday's rehearsal will end
at 6 pm . All Cast, Lights, Sound, and Stage crew come all days Monday through Thursday; Hair and Make-up come on Monday
and Tuesday; Publicity come on Tuesday (for 30 minutes);
Costumes come on Wednesday.
AIM Presents Willy Wonka Jr.
Come support your friends as Actors in Motion drama club
presents Willy Wonka Jr., November 3 5 at the Theater at
Adams Middle School. Ticket pre-sales are happening now
through October 28 (or until we sell out). You can pick up a ticket
pre-order form from Mrs. Kennealy in Room 53, Mr. Bullington in
room 1 or 30, the student office or download an order form from
Mrs. Kennealy's webpage. Tickets are $5. After October 28,
remaining seats will be sold at the door beginning 30 minutes
before each show. Show dates/times are Thursday and Friday,
Nov 3-4 at 7:00 pm and Saturday, November 5 at 1:00 and 5:00
pm.
