Our amazing Garden teachers have shared their yummy recipe for a Garden Basil Pesto. You can find the recipe on the
school website: www.Honaunauelementaryschool.weebly.com. A definite must have recipe for those holiday parties!
Also, the school garden is looking for volunteers to help water the garden before or after school. Do you have a few
extra minutes when you drop off your child in the morning? Do you take walks on the school field in the
evening? These are the perfect times to give the garden a little bit of love! And a great way to spend time after school.
If you are interested in helping, please contact Ms. Aileen Force through the school office.
If you are unable to volunteer but would like to help, the school garden would also appreciate donations of some supplies
like some tomato cages and a broom. If you are interested in donating garden supplies, please contact Ms. Force through the school
office to see how you can help. As a reminder, no outside organic material should be brought to school garden to help reduce the risk
of little fire ants. Mahalo!
