1.What is your company name and what is the type of business you are
running?
The company name is VELMURUGAN TEX
The type of business is TEXTILES and GARMENTS.
2.When did you start your business and how much do you invested?
This business was started at the year of 1994 and the amount invested in this
business 2 lakhs.
3.How did you get this idea to start this type of business?
Tirupur is famous for textiles,we can get the raw materials easily,so we stared
this business.
4.Is this is a partnership business or what?
Yes our business is running on partnership.
5.Where u get the raw materials and what are the raw materials you are
using?
We get the raw materials from my uncle itself, we get the raw materials like
yawn,we make the cloth with that and we will do dyeing with that cloth and we
do ironing and the cloth will come to us and we will start the production.
6.I heard that you are getting orders from many foreign companies can you
please explain about that?

We are doing orders for EASTMANS company(LEADING NO.1 COMPANY

AT TIRUPUR)
We are doing orders for jack and jones brand inner wears.

7.What type of machineries you are using in your company?

Overlock machines,
Lay cutting machines etc..,
8.How many labours are working in your company?
We having about 120 labours.
