What students want to know?

1. Am I in the right classroom?


The teacher will be standing at the door of the classroom to assure
clients are entering the correct classroom. Will also be assisting with
reviewing students schedules.

2. Where am I supposed to sit?


Students will be provided with instructions on locating their assigned
seats. A seating chart will also be posted in the classroom for students
to follow.

3. What are the rules of the classroom?


A hardcopy of the rules will be provided to each student and their
parent. They will also be displayed on the classroom bulletin board.
4. What will I be doing this year?
Classroom procedures will be discussed over the first
few weeks of school.

5. How will I be graded?


The grading chart will be posted on teachers website and a copy will
be included with the classroom requirements sent home to parents.
6. Who is the teacher as a person?
During the first week of school, introductory letters will be sent home
to parents providing a little background info to parents.

7. Will the teacher treat me as a human being?


Students will be treated with dignity, respect, and love. They will also
enter into a warm welcoming classroom where the teacher will greet
them at the door and will have an open door policy for
whenever students need to speak with the teacher about any
issues.
