He knows that he is gonna get caught and he cant differentiate between
imagine and lying.

This says that he is a honest person but has a low intelligence.

They were arguing about using Charlie in an operation to get smart

him. What is it?
He will have his intelligence tripled by surgical means.

6. Dr. Strauss tells Charlie not to worry about the operation. What is his
reasoning for this?
To not be superstitious and that the test is science.

8. What is Charlies opinion of Algernon now? Why does it change?
He likes the mouse because he realizes that the mouse got the sergery done
too and that it took time for him to become smarter. He realizes that one day
he can hopefully beat him the maze.

11. Why did Mrs. Kinnian run out of the room? What does this tell you about
how she feels about Charlie?
She runs out of the room because she is upset and she doesnt want to tell
him the truth about his friends. She feels bad for him that he thinks that
they're his friends but really they are making fun of him.

12. List 3 improvements in Charlies intelligence from the beginning until the
end of Part I.
He now can beat Algernon in the maze after his operation. He also learned
punctuation and he figured out how to spell and he also read a whole book
and understood it.

whole thing. I got up in the middle of the night, and the whole thing
straightened out in my brain. Boy, did I have crazy spelling and punctuation.

It means to do something not intelligent and they refer to Charlie because of
his IQ score and how he is not as smart of other people therefore they say
that they pulled a Charlie Gordon because the person they are referring to
did or said something stupid.

This intelligence has driven a wedge between me and all the people I once
