Text Evidence #1: I beat Algernon! I don't even know I beat him until Bert the
tester told me.

11. Why did Mrs. Kinnian run out of the room? What does this tell you about
how she feels about Charlie?
Mrs. Kinnian realizes that Joe and Frank arent actually good friends and they
just want to make fun of Charlie. Charlie doesnt realize this so that makes
Mrs. Kinnian very sad. Mrs. Kinnian is so sad so she says she has something in
her eye and leaves the room. The thing in her eye is actually a tear because
of how upset she was.

To pull a Charlie Gordon means to mess up and be stupid. Charlie gets very
sad when he realizes this.
