AFTER PROGRIS REPORT 3:


1. Why does Charlie say I never tell lies? What is he talking about?
In his tests, Charlie never tells lies anymore because when he did, he always
got caught.
2. What does this say about his personality and intelligence?
This shows that he isnt very smart but wants to get smarter. Also, he doesnt
give up.
3. Who is Algernon?
A white mouse that Charlie had to race against for a test.

AFTER PROGRIS REPORT 4:


4. What were Dr. Nemur and Dr. Strauss arguing about?
They were arguing about using Charlie as their test subject. Dr. Strauss
wanted to use him, but Dr. Nemur didnt.
5. Charlie will be the first human being to ever have something happen to
him. What is it? He will be the first human to have his intelligence tripled by
surgery.

6. Dr. Strauss tells Charlie not to worry about the operation. What is his
reasoning for this?
Hes telling him not to worry because Charlie will be the first person this
operation was done to, and Dr. Strauss is wishing him luck that nothing goes
wrong.
7. Dr. Strauss wants Charlie to concentrate on what in his journal entries?
He tells Charlie to write more about what he feels and thinks than what he
does.

8. What is Charlies opinion of Algernon now? Why does it change?
He is amazed by how fast Algernon is because now he knows he did the same
operation as Charlie.

Joe and Frank are really making fun of Charlie, but Charlie
doesnt realize it.

tester told me.

11. Why did Mrs. Kinnian run out of the room? What does this tell you about
how she feels about Charlie?
Mrs. Kinnian realizes that Joe and Frank arent actually good friends and they
just want to make fun of Charlie. Charlie doesnt realize this so that makes
Mrs. Kinnian very sad. Mrs. Kinnian is so sad so she says she has something in
her eye and leaves the room. The thing in her eye is actually a tear because
of how upset she was.
