INTRODUCTION
Cadbury is a multinantional company and
the Cadbury dairy milk is a brand of
chocolate which is made by Cadbury.
Cadbury first sold its product in United
States in 1905.Cadbury presence in India
dates back to 1948, when the parent
Cadbury Schweppes set up a wholly
owned subsidiary Cadbury Fry (India ) ltd.
Cadbury is a dominating player in Indian
chocolate market with strong brands like
Dairy milk, Five star, Perk, Gems
etc..Cadbury Dairy milk is a worldwide
brand of chocolate of United Kingdom
which made its different types of products
and promote in different countries like
Pakistan, India, Canada, France almost in
all the countries. Cadbury also has a

strong brand Bournvita in the malted


health drink category, which accounts for
24 % of turnover.

OBJECTIVE
1. To find out the consumer
preference
towards
Cadbury
chocolates.
2. To find out what age group of
peoples
prefers
Cadbury
chocolates.
3. To find out the appealing
qualities that why people consumes
Cadbury chocolates.
4. To find out the discounts and
offers influence, if they will buy or
not the Cadbury chocolates.

5. To find out how often consumers


buy Cadbury chocolates.

RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
The manipulation of things, concepts symbols for
the purpose of generalizing to extend, correct or
verify knowledge weather that knowledge aids in
construction of theory or in the practice of an art.
The research methodology followed for further
work can be primarily classified into 2 types
namely Exploratory and Descriptive. The stepwise
details of the research are as follows :-

Descriptive Research

Descriptive Research Method describes the


research of statistics. It is logical and primarily
focuses on numeric data. However, it is not

analytical because it does not look at why


certain trends within statistics ocuur.

Exploratory Research

Exploratory Research is conducted in those


areas where only few earlier research studies
have been done. The basic objective of this
research is to identify the problem.

TYPES OF DATA
It is basically of two types types :-

1. Primary Data
Primary data is the data that is
observed or collected by the researcher
from first-hand experience. This is in
comparison to secondary data which
the researcher obtained from published
data or data collected in the past.

2. Secondary Data

Secondary data is often used in social


and economical analysis, especially
when access to primary data is

unavailable. For example, survey of


group of economists of primary data
can not be repeated. So, its results are
used in subsequent project or data
collected by the department of labor of
primary data that is used in economic
analysis.
