    eventuallyachievethermalequilibrium.Duringtheprocessofreachingthermalequilibrium,heatistransferredbetweenthe
    objects.TheamountofheattransferreddeltaQisproportionaltothetemperaturedifferencedeltaTbetweentheobjects
    andtheheatcapacitycoftheobject.

    andtheexactprocessusedtochangethestate.Differentprocessesresultindifferentamountsofheattransferand
    work.TheeffectsofbothheatflowandworkarecombinedintheFirstLawofThermodynamics.
    Therearesomethermodynamicprocessesinwhichthereisnoheattransfer.Engineerscallthistypeofaprocessan
    adiabaticprocessandtherearesimpleequationswhichrelatethepressureandtemperatureofagasforanadiabatic
    process.
