Dear Parent/Carer,

School Closure 25 November and 28 November 2016

This letter is to remind you that school will be closed for students on:
Friday 25 November and Monday 28 November 2016
These days are set aside for staff planning and preparation time and to provide the opportunity
for some important staff training.
Please also note that, in order to ensure that students do not miss too many of the lessons
scheduled for Fridays through the year, this Thursday (24 November) will be treated as a Friday,
so please ensure that your son/ward comes to school prepared for a Friday timetable.

SCHOOL PRODUCTION THURSDAY 1 & FRIDAY 2 DECEMBER (7.00PM)
Tickets for our production of Macbeth are now on sale. They can be purchased online
(www.isleworthsyon.org/macbeth) or on the door. Please note that you receive 25% off the ticket
price if you buy them online.
YEAR 7 INDUCTION ASSEMBLY FRIDAY 16 DECEMBER (8.45AM)
Letters will be emailed to Year 7 parents/carers this week with more information about this
celebratory event.
CAROL CONCERT MONDAY 19 DECEMBER (7.00PM)
Please do put this date in your diary for what is always a special date in the school calendar.
Publicity will be launched via the schools website and social media accounts next week.
END OF TERM THURSDAY 22 DECEMBER
Students are expected to attend the last day of this term on Thursday 22 December. They will be
allowed to leave at 12.30pm for the Christmas holiday, and will be expected to return to school
at 8.30am on Monday 9 January 2017.
