Dr. Swanson:

Tis the season of pumpkin spiced lattes and halloween fun, everyones favorite season is officially here! However,
Gabriel Martinez has far more to fear than witches and vampires this season. In fact, he dreads the beginning of
October, as his worst nightmares become a chilling reality.

I think the story of Gabriel Martinez would be essential to the people of Green Bay, Wisconsin. Gabriel Martinez is the
Assistant Chief of the Corpus Christi Fire Department in Texas and is a nationally recognized expert on all types of
heating systems, including oil-fired, natural gas, and propane furnaces. Gabriel is hosting a 90-minute presentation on
furnace safety to local residents, which will include safety discussions, video tutorials, and hands-on demonstrations
focusing on how to light your furnace safely. It has been noted that during this time, we typically see a dramatic
increase in home fire and ambulance calls, especially in homes belonging to the elderly due to a lack of knowledge in
furnace safety. This presentation will take place at the Best Western Green Bay Inn Conference Center on 780 Armed
Forces Drive, on Saturday, October 1st, 2016 from 7-9:30 p.m. Your recent articles have done an exceptional job at
keeping the citizens informed of all recent activity going on in Green Bay, and I think that this presentation hosted by
Gabriel Martinez would be just as successful. Our goal is to make everyone more aware of the dangers of furnace use
and reduce the number of tragedies that happen each year.

I am offering Gabriels presentation exclusively to you, so I would need to know fairly soon if you are interested.
Gabriel has 25 years of experience as a fire fighter and paramedic and I can assure you that he would be qualified to
work with any writers or photographers you assign. Green Bay Fire Department personnel will also be on hand. I could
help you arrange an interview with Gabriel Martinez or other members of the Fire Department before the presentation
to further assist with your story. Please let me know how I might be of help. My direct phone line is 1-(206) 426-5542.

I will call Wednesday, Sept. 21 to see if I could assist on the possible news story of Gabriel Martinez and his
presentation. Thank you for your time and consideration.
