Currently in Langsa city the business residential housing (houses) began to spread and housing shops,

better known as shop with the concept of a simple house with a price easily affordable by the community.
Many various facilities of support that once have been deemed eligible, currently rated less already meet
the standards of worthiness again, so necessary repairs, in additions or changes to the various means, one
of which is a means of environmental sanitation (septic tanks/waste liquid processing). In this study
researchers took the views of environmental sanitation facility (septic tanks/waste liquid processing) The
Villa Kampus Indah housing located in Langsa Gampong Meurandeh, district of Langsa Lama. But
problems in the disposal of domestic waste that is very difficult, due to the planned size of the available
land in the area was minimal to plan the channel septic tanks. The purpose of this research was done to
make planning that directs the exhaust flow of water closed more easily, become more secure, smoothly
and with a narrow land conditions. The limitations problem in this research is the planning system of
communal cesspools on type 45/92dan calculates the size of the septic tank will be planned. The results
are depicted in the form of a system of communal cesspools with design drawings of the planned results
of monitoring in the field. The results of the research planning system of communal cesspools at the Villa
Kampus Indah housing in Langsa.the dimension of the cesspools to drainage time for 2 years is with a
length of 2 m, width 1 m, and a height of 1 m with a volume of 3 m3, whereas with cesspools drainage
time for 4 years is the length of 3 m, width 1 m, and a height of 1.5 m with a volume 4.5 m3.
