height, center by dragging the circle and following the number guides. Color the circle black using the Paint
Bucket tool. Deselect.

Step 3: Color of eye/ Second Circle

Create a new layer and make a circle, using the Elliptical Marquee tool, that is longer than it is wide; I
used 7.417 inches for the width and 8.639 inches for the height. Choose a main color for the eye and fill it in
using the Paint Bucket. Deselect.

Step 4: Inner eye/ Oval

Create a new layer and make an oval 7 inches wide and 3 inches high. Center the oval in the circle.

Choose a desired color of the eye and use the paint bucket tool to fill the selected oval from step 4. Go
to blending options > stroke and create a stroke of 17

Step 6: Creating the base for the iris

Make a new layer and use the elliptical marquee tool to make a circle 1.5 inch in height and 1.5 inch in
width. Center the circle on the oval and color it black using the paint bucket tool.

Step 7: Create your iris

Make a circle using the elliptical marquee tool 1.250 inches for the height and the width. Center the
circle on the base and choose a color, use the paint bucket tool to fill it.

Step 8: Pupil
Create a new layer then use the elliptical marquee tool to create a pupil to the size of your liking; I used
.899 inches for the height and width. Use the paint bucket tool to make the pupil black.

Step 9: Add detail to the Iris

Use the paintbrush tool, brush size 3, black, and create veins in the iris.

Step 10: Add detail to the pupil

Use the brush tool, size 3, color: white, and draw a small dash somewhere in the eye. Then make the
brush size 7 and put a dot in the middle of the eye.

Step 11: Detail to the Sclera (oval)

Using the eyedropper tool select the color used for the oval. Use the color
wheel to make a darker color. Then use the brush, size 7, to make lines in the oval
to compliment the curve of the eye.

Step 12: Final details

Using the brush tool, size 9, color: black, make curved lines complimenting the curves of the oval and
outer circle to give it detail.
