BEST PRACTICES
A. BEST PRACTICE TO REDUCE DROP OUT
Students drop out of school for many reasons, some external to school and some
education-related. As a result, it is difficult to predict which students will drop out. Since there
have not been rigorous evaluations of dropout prevention and recovery programs,
interventions strategies should be develop.
Project SABBADO ( SAkripisyong pagBisita sa Batang nasa listahan ng Drop Out)
have placed a new focus on increasing graduation rates and reducing dropout rates in our
school. The main activity on this project is home visitation monthly ( every Saturday).

B. BEST PRACTICES TO INCREASE ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT

There is no single program or new practice that can transform low-

performing pupils into effective pupils. Schools must choose and sustain a coherent
improvement strategy appropriate to each learner by focusing on the need to
improve curriculum and classroom instruction.
The following are the keys in achieving the remarkable increase on the NAT
MPS of Cabulay Elementary School:
1. K to 3 EGLLNP Inplementation (Early Grades Language Literacy and
Numeracy Program)
2. NAT ENHANCEMENT PROGRAM (NEP) wherein Grade 4-6 teachers
were required to construct and conduct NAT type test.
