Report in School Information Communications Technology (ICT)

I. INTRODUCTION
Information Technology (IT) is concerned with the development, management
and use of computer-based information systems. Our top priority and most important
is the continued success in providing high quality, reliable service and support to our
students and teachers. I.T now a days is very important not only to pupils but to
teachers also.

II. OBJECTIVES
1. Enhance the computer skills of pupils and teachers in Basic Microsoft Word, Excel
and PowerPoint.
2. Apply the knowledge learned on Information Technology in daily life.
3. Use the e-Classroom to watch movies related to lessons, to show PowerPoint related
to subject matters being taught.
4. Use the interactive whiteboard in e-Classroom for interactive learning.
5. Provide teachers with trainings, updates and assistance.

III. HIGHLIGHTS OF REPORT


1. Attended the Workshop on LIS BOSY encoding
2. Conducted School-Based Workshop on LIS Data Encoding.
3. Conducted School-Based Training on the New Classroom Assessment and the Use
of E-Class Record
4. Attended the Orientation meeting on beginning of S.Y 2021-2022, Enrollment
Guidelines
5. Created the School page and ICT Group for the dissemination of information and
activities to teachers, parents and students.
6. Facilitated the virtual faculty meetings.
7. Attended the school PPE validation on ICT.
8. continued the E-classroom beautification.
9. Assisted the school head and teachers in the submission of online forms.
10. Assisted the Property Custodian in distribution of SIM Cards

IV. PROGRAMS AND PROJECTS


1. With the fast pace of modern technology, teachers must be equipped and oriented
with the knowledge and skills to cope up with the needs of the school and students. To
make this this possible the teachers of Batan NHS conducted Training on Information
Technology.
2. Students use the e-classroom in their discussions, for research most of the time.
V. PROBLEMS MET
1. Sometimes the facilities in e-Classroom like the voltage regulator and server do not
function.
2. Computer Laboratory is not air-conditioned and not well ventilated.
3. Enough time is required to School ICT Coordinator to maintain and fix facilities in
the e-Classroom.
4. Insufficient time and budget.

VI. FUTURE PLANS


1. WIFI installation in the school e-Classroom for easy access in the internet.
2. Provide training on Microsoft office applications and the use of e-classroom
management software to secondary teachers.
3. Training of students on the use of Photoshop for photo editing and tarpaulin design.
4. Purchase of a vacuum cleaner to address the problem of dusts.
