(Elementary)

VIRTUAL EXPOS (Grade 6)

This competition will showcase the performance of our learners based on the following
competencies:
Read grade level text with accuracy, appropriate rate and proper expression
EN6F-IIc-1.7
React on the content of the material presented EN60L-IIh-6
Share brief impromptu remarks about topics of interest EN60L-IIf-5
Employ an appropriate style of speaking, adjusting language, gestures, rate, and
volume according to audience and purpose EN6OL-IIc-3.7
Apply the 21st century skill which is the use of ICT in different learning areas

1. Participants of the competition are 2 grade 6 pupils.

2. They must have a background in ICT.
3. Participants will bring their own laptops, extension wire and WIFI Stick to be utilized in
making an AVP (audio-visual presentation) via MS Powerpoint 2010 version.
4. They will be isolated in an assigned room. No coach is allowed.
5. Contestants will be given an expository text (pre-selected by the event organizer) to
read.
6. They will be given 2 hours for reading and preparation of Powerpoint Presentation.
7. The participants may incorporate musical background, voice over, photos and video
clips as visual backgrounds (may be lifted from the web) and other technical effects
using ICT.
8. Participants will be given 5-7 minutes for the presentation.
9. For every minute of excess or lack of the time, a deduction of 1 point to the total score
of the contestants.
10. No opening of social media sites (facebook, twitter, Instagram and yahoo
messenger). Only search engines like Google search, Mozilla, yahoo search and
Youtube are allowed.
11. No cellphones allowed.
