Burwardsley Residential
I had the pleasure of staying with the Year 3 and Year 4 children on
their residential visit to Burwardsley this week. Although cold, 60
children have had a wonderful time hiking in the woods, exploring a
replica Iron Age Roundhouse, creating shelters, making clay pots,
building a hurdle, making string from grass, learning how to work
together in team games, as well as rising to the challenges of sleeping
away from home.
This is such a valuable part of the childrens time at primary school and
as staff we are keen to continue such experiences in the coming years.

We are very aware of the increases in costs of travel and
accommodation, which ultimately is paid for through your voluntary
