Solution:
95/5 = 19. In 19 multiples, 1 of them is 5. The rest multiples ranging from 10 to 95. Thus, the answer is 18.

10. A map of a small town is scaled 1 cm: 100 m. If two actual locations are 200 m apart, how many
centimeters apart are these locations on the map?
Solution: use ration and proportion.
In every hundred, the distance on the map on the paper is 1 cm. Since there were 2 hundreds, there were
a total of 2 cm distance.

formula in the problem we have,

PP=OP(1-r)
112=OP(1-0.2)
112=OP*0.8
OP=112/0.8
OP=140

Therefore the price without the discount is 140.


4. Steve sold 20 mangoes and 16 oranges, and he earned Php 488 from both fruits. If each oranges cost
