What is EduNxt?
EduNxt is the next generation learning system that fully takes advantage of modern teaching
techniques to create a virtual classroom where students come together to learn from
distinguished faculty and each other. The EduNxt platform is an easy to use delivery system.
It enables a collaborative and interactive environment for learning and includes small group
mentoring, virtual classrooms, simulation, self-study content, recorded presentations and
shared browsing.

Logging in to EduNxt

Follow these steps to log in to EduNxt to view the course material.

1. Enter the URL http://edunxt.smude.edu.in in the address bar of your Internet browser
and click Go.

2. Enter your user name and password in the respective fields.

Note: Your university roll number is given as default user name and password. You are
required to change the password after the first login.

3. Click the Login button.

The EduNxt homepage appears.

Password Recovery

1. If you forgot your password, click Forgot Password? In the login

page.

2. Enter your Username/Roll No.

3. Enter your Birth Date.
4. Click Validate User.

Note: It is mandatory for you to enter data in both these fields.

 - Enter new password, confirm new password, enter mobile number and email address
in the respective fields. (please refer the password security instructions)
- Click the Update button.

On successful validation, you will get a confirmation.

Features of EduNxt Home Page
EduNxt is interactive and intuitive the new Learning Environment enables you to get a
single view of all the learning activities. Some of the key learning activities are: Learn, Ask,
Quick Links, and Helpdesk.

Quick Links
Quick Links enables you to navigate to the Announcements, Helpdesk, User Manual, Library,
Revised Model Question Papers, Model Descriptive Questions, Learning Process Map,
Approved Mentor List, Webinar Links and Download Resources.

Announcements

You can see announcements from the university once you have logged on to EduNxt. To
view these, click the Announcements tile or Quick Links - Announcements.

On clicking Announcements, a calendar view of activities, tasks and latest events appear. In
addition, announcements such as Chat Schedule, Chat recording links, Assignment
guidelines and Learning Plan are also available.

Helpdesk

A helpdesk is a resource intended to provide the end user with information and support
related to EduNxt.

To raise a helpdesk ticket, you need to follow these simple steps:

1. Click Quick Links - Helpdesk on the home page.

2. Fill in the following details in the Helpdesk window:

2.1. Select the Department as Edunxt
2.2. Enter the Function code in the Function field.

 2.3. Enter the problem faced in the Description field.
3. Click the Submit button to send the request.

The query will be sent to the concerned department. You will receive a reply once the query is
closed by the EduNxt support team.

Here, you can find the links for all the recorded WebEx sessions for different subjects, for you to go
through the sessions.

Download Resources
In EduNxt, you can download the related study resources for your reference.
Click Quick Links Download Resources on the home page.

1. Select the Program

2. Click the Submit button
3. Select Drive Name
4. Select term and resource type to download the resource.

Learn
All the Subjects that you are enrolled are displayed under LEARN in EduNxt.

Access to subjects depends on the program and the semester to which you are enrolled.
You can see the subjects relevant for the Semester under the respective tab.

Click on the subject to view the contents for your learning.

ASK
You can interact with other students and ask question and discuss any topic of interest with
other members of your section.

Here you ask a question, and answer questions posted by other students. You can ask or
answer a question subject wise. You can also search for questions, filter view by Popular,
Recommended, Newest, Solved and Unsolved Questions. Questions & answers posted
in that community and the tags associated with that community can also be seen.

1. You can type in the question and click on Ask a question button.
2. You can find the list of questions asked by other users subject-wise for your
reference.

Personalised Features of Edunxt

To view your personalized features, click the drop-down arrow next to your
name. You will find various options like:

Change Password
My Profile

You can edit your profile information in Edunxt. Your information may be used for
communication, mandatory training, and competency-related initiatives, therefore, it is
important to correct any inaccuracies in your profile information.

Change Password
For security reasons, you might want to change your password.

To change password, follow these steps:

1. Click Change Password. The Change Password window appears.

 2. Enter the old password, new password, confirm new password and your date of birth
in the respective fields.
3. Click the Save button to confirm the changes made.

You will receive a confirmation message.

Edit Profile
You might want to update your profile for various reasons.

Follow these simple steps to view/make changes to your profile:

1. Hover your mouse cursor over your name on the top right of the page.
2. Click My Profile. The My Profile page appears.
3. Click the Edit Profile button to make changes to your profile.

This space consists of Inspirational videos or other success stories. Content in this space will
change from time-to-time.

Announcements
This space consists of announcements and updates from the University which will be
updated from time-to-time.

Try A Quiz

This is a link to attempt a quiz related to a particular subject in the course you are enrolled.
More quizzes are available in Course Book.

Skill Enhancement Programs

When you click Skill Enhancement Programs, you will be able to view skill development
videos like Personality Development, Resume Writing, Interview Preparation, Time
Management, Business Writing skills.

Model Question Papers (MQPs)

Click the MQPs tile to access the Model Question Papers for quick reference and practice.
MQPs are in the same pattern as the question paper for the final examination.

Assignments
Click the Assignment tile to upload internal assignments (IA).

Enter the following details:

Subject Name
Question Paper Download
Upload

Click the Question paper download option to download the IA question paper. Once you
prepare the IA answer (following the given instruction), click the Upload button to upload the
Answer document.

To upload the Answer sheet, enter your Roll No and Subject Code. To attach the answer
sheet, click the Choose file button to browse through the files on your computer and upload
the IA answer sheet, and finally click the Submit Assignment button.

Enter your Email ID and Mobile Number and click the Accept the terms and conditions
check box and finally click the Confirm & Upload button.

If you need to revisit the details provided in the previous page, click Go Back and make the
desired changes.

Once the IA Answer sheet is uploaded successfully, a unique token number will be
generated for each subjects IA. You can use this token number for any communication with
university related to the IA.

Faculty

You can see the profile of the faculty for a particular subject by clicking this tile.

Blogs
This is the space where faculty places important questions and communication regarding the
subjects.

Badges & Points
Click this tile to view your badges and points.

Points accumulated by you and other awards given for reaching a pre-defined milestones
are shown here and you can view the details of your points at any time.

Logging out of EduNxt

Hover your mouse cursor over your name and click Logout.
