Project Title Employee Motivation
Introduction & Objectives
After employees are hired and trained, it is important to motivate
them to get the desired efforts from them, to achieve organizational
objectives. While designing their compensation package, we try to
meet their expectations at the outset, suitably identifying their
extrinsic and intrinsic needs, within the given policies and
procedures of the organization.
However, this is restricted only in those cases, where, we can afford
to become flexible, to attract and retain talents in key positions,
without contributing to the general dissatisfaction of the other
employees. But major problems on employee motivation become
evident when employees of an organization start perceiving that
there is a wide mismatch between their expectations and
organizational commitments, resulting in a significant drop in their
perception.
The primary objective is to study the effect of monetary and non
monetary benefits provided by the organization on the employees
performance.
Secondary objective is to study the effect of the job promotions on
employees.
To learn the employees satisfaction on the interpersonal
relationship exists in the organization
To provide the practical suggestions for improvement of
organizations performance.

Problem statement

o Objective
1. The primary objective of the research is To compare the job satisfaction level of the
employees of multinational corporations and public sector undertakings.
2. The secondary objective of research is To prove that job satisfaction level of the employees
of multinational corporations is more than that of the employees of public sector
undertakings.
3. To suggest ways to increase the level of job satisfaction level can also be increases.
o Limitation of study
It is not possible to remove the limitation of any investigaters. So this project also has certain
limitation that are as

1. Information was gathered through the rating of the subject, thus biasness is possible.
2 the sample size was small it is possible that it may not represents the precise picture.

o Time Limit

The time limit taken for conducting the research was very less it could also be one of the
limitations of the study.

o Research Methodology

Market research defined as the systematic and objective research for and analyses of
information relevant to the identification and solution of any problem field of marketing.
Marketing research is the systematic design, collection analysis and reporting of data and finding
relevant to specific market situation facing the company.

Research Design:
A research design specifies the methods and procedures for conducting a particular study. In this
research I have use following research methods.

o Data Collection Method:

- Primary Data: I have collected data by interviewing employee for research and randomly
selected employee. I will use the structured questioners.
- Secondary Data: I will collect data from the available sources like internet, journals, newspaper,
published data etc.
- Research Instrument: In this survey the research instrument used was questionnaire
method.

- Contact Method: The method adopted in my survey was personal interview.

o Field Work: The information will be collected from employee by personally asking them questions
and filling the questionnaire In this survey the research instrument used was questionnaire
method.

- Sampling plan:
Sampling units : Random sampling technique
Sampling size : 25
Field area : M/s. Geeta Bakery
(A leading bakery & beverage manufacturing & selling unit)

o Data Processing:

Daily data will be entered into MS-Excel sheets. After the exhaustion of the specified geo-
graphical area this data will be analyzed using simple graphical and tabulation techniques.

o Hypothesis:

The hypothesis of the study that the employees of multinational corporations have a higher job

satisfaction level as compare to the employees of Public sector undertakings is proved. It is
evident from the interpretation of the data that there are 24.7% of employees of multinational
corporations who are highly satisfied with their jobs as compared to
13.6% employees of Public sector undertakings
