Qualification
Must be 13- 39 years of age
Open to Brgy Pamplona Uno and Brgy Zapote residents
Contestant must be an amateur singers or entertainers

Registration
All contestant must be registered on or before 7:00pm Nov. 20, 2012
There will be registration table located at the entrance of CTK Church and
Holy Family Chapel in Zapote on Saturday and Sunday Masses (Nov.
10-11 and Nov.17-18)
Contestant may register on Parish Office on weekdays except on Mondays
Contestant must provide their Name, Address, Date of Birth, Age and
Contact Information

Competition and Judging

An elimination will be held on Nov 21, 2012 at CTK Hall (2nd Floor) if 8 or
more contestants registered. Otherwise an orientation will take place.
(Orientation will follow after the elimination.)

ELIMINATION
Contestant will sing a song of his/her choice Only the contestant, jury and
the committee allowed in the elimination Room
Jury shall select 7 contestants to compete on the night of 23 Nov 2012
In the event of a TIE contestant with the higher average grade in Vocal
Ability will be qualified to compete on the finals night.
The order in which each contestant competes in the finals shall be
determined by a random draw.
Finalists must supply their own background tracks on a CD on or before Nov
22, 2012 . Background music must be clear of lead vocal singers, only
musical band instruments are acceptable and light harmonies.
All decisions and interpretations regarding the elimination, its rules, and the
selection of the contestants remain with the judges and committee are
final.

PERFOMANCE NIGHT
Will be held on Novemeber 23, 2012 at San Isidro Covered Court and
contestant are expected to be there on or before 7:00 pm
The time limit for each contestant is 4 minutes. Songs going over 4 minutes
will be shut off. Judges will be instructed to not deduct points due to a
song being shut off.
Finalists may sing the same song as another contestant.
Songs containing vulgar or explicit sexual lyrics will not be allowed.
Contestants who during their performance, use any obscene, offensive,

sexual or otherwise inappropriate behavior or gestures, including

without limitation those referencing or depicting violence, nudity or
explicit activity.Or which are not in the spirit of the contest will be
disqualified from the competition.
Finalists and their families are not allowed to have contact with any contest
judge before or during the competition. Contact includes verbal
conversations and handshakes. Please dont hang out in back of or
around the judges area.
Contestants, and/or their family or associates who exhibit offensive behavior
during any portion of the contest may result in the disqualification of that
contestant from further competition. Offensive behavior includes poor
sportsmanship, bad manners, and lack of decorum.
All decisions and interpretations regarding the contest, its rules, and the
selection of the winners remain with the judges and committee are final.

JUDGING
Contestant will be scored using 50-point system:

* Vocal Ability (rhythm/pitch/phrasing) 1-30 points

* Stage Presence (movement/confidence/command) 1-10 points
* Appearance (costume/attire/overall impact) 1-10 points

3rd place Php 1000.00
consolation Php 500.00
The winner will be selected, and then announced after the scores has been
calculated.
