RULES AND REGULATIONS

SINGING COMPETITION

REGISTRATION 25th – 29th May, 2023. (till 5p.m)

 Only nursing students are eligible for participation.

 Only 1 candidate/team will hold 1st position.

 Entries per college:

SOLO – 5
DUET – 3
GROUP -2
 Duration of the performance:
SOLO – 3 minutes
DUET – 4 minutes
GROUP – 4 - 5 minutes
 The group should consist of 5 – 10 members.
 Use of karaoke and back tracks are not allowed.
 Instruments will not be provided by the institution.
 Rap portions and refrains are not permissible.
 Hired accompanists are permitted.
 Original compositions are allowed and may fetch extra points.
 Judgement will be based on qualities like taal, composition, harmony and presentation.
 Vulgarity and obscenity of any kind is not allowed.
 Decision of the judges will be final and binding.

POETRY COMPETITION

REGISTRATION 25th – 29th May, 2023 (till 5p.m)

 Only nursing students are eligible for participation.

 Only 1 candidate/team will hold 1st position.

 Content of Hindi, English and Punjabi will be accepted.

 Theme will be selected by the participants only.
 2 minutes will be given to each participant.
 Poetry should be written by the participants themselves.

FASHION SHOW

REGISTRATION 25th – 29th May, 2023 (till 5p.m)

 Only nursing students are eligible for participation.

 Only 1 candidate/team will hold 1st position.

 Only 1 group entry per college is allowed.

 The group should consist of 12 – 15 members only.
  The duration of the presentation is 8 – 10 minutes.
 Theme selection is open to the team.
 Track used should be handed down before the event in a personal pen-drive.
 Obscenity of any kind is not allowed.
 Teams will be judged on costumes, theme, makeup, walking stance and attitude.
 A green room would be provided for the changing purposes.
 Use of cigarettes, alcohol and any unfair means is strongly prohibited.
 Decision of the judges will be final and binding on all teams.

LYRICS HUNT

REGISTRATION 25th – 29th May, 2023 (till 5p.m)

 Only nursing students are eligible for participation.

 The audience/supporters shall not give any hints or clues.
 Only 1 candidate/team will hold 1st position.

Round 1: Complete the song

 A song will be played for you for 15-20 seconds and then you have to complete the song.
A three-person team is required.
 Complete the song until the tune turns off
 Correct lyrics will be awarded 10 marks.
 Lyrics should be right
 Correct = 10 marks
 Incorrect = 0

Round 2: Pick a chit

 A chit will be picked by a team member

 Chit will have a specific word which you have to involve in your song or you have to sing
the song in which that word is present.
 The song can be in Hindi.
 The lyrics should be correct
 Participants have to start the song within 20 seconds and have to sing the song for
complete 1 min.
 If the team failed to sing the song, the chit will be passed to the audience.

Round 3: Guess Hindi song by its English lyrics

 The participant will be provided with English lyrics of Hindi songs

 You have to guess the song and have to sing the song within 30 seconds
 The lyrics should be correct
 Just converting English words to Hindi won't give marks, you need to sing the lyrics

Round 4: Replace the word

 A song will be given to the contestants

 The contestant has to incorporate funny words into the song as lyrics within 1 minute and
then sing the song for 30 seconds
 The team will be awarded 10 marks
  If the participant fails to do so the team will be marked zero and the song will be passed on
to the audience.

DANCE COMPETITION

REGISTRATION 25th – 29th May, 2023 (till 5p.m)

 Only nursing students are eligible for participation.

 Only 1 candidate/team will hold 1st position.

 Entries per college:

SOLO – 5
DUET – 3
GROUP -2

 Duration of the performance:

SOLO – 3 - 4 minutes
DUET – 4 - 5 minutes
GROUP – 7 - 8 minutes
 Group should consist of 8-10 members.
 Track used should be handed down before the event in a personal pen-drive.
 Props and costumes will not be provided by the institution.
 Obscenity of any kind is not allowed.
 Judgment will be based on choreography, rhythms, taal, synchronization, costume and
overall presentation and performance of the participants.
 Decision of the judges will be final and binding.

LET'S GET CINEMATIC

REGISTRATION 25th – 29th May 2023(till 5p.m)

 Only nursing students are eligible for participation.

 The audience/supporters shall not give any hints or clues.
 Only 1 candidate/team will hold 1st position.

 Only team entries are eligible; A three-person team is required.

 The participants shall not be allowed to use mobile or other electronic gadgets.
 The audience/supporters shall not give any hints or clues to the competitors.
 Replacement of any participant of a team is not allowed after registration
 The theme will be Bollywood only!
Round 1: DUMB CHARADES

 Each team will be given 1 minute for this round.

 One of the team members will pick a slip with a movie name on it.
 Then the player will have to act in such a way that the other team member can guess the
movie.
  The player who is going to act is allowed to make gestures but lip sync is prohibited,
candidates failing to do this will be eliminated.
 The time will start as soon as they collect their slip.
 The team will be awarded 10 points if they can guess the movie within the time limit.
 There will be no negative markings for this round.
 The team with least points will be eliminated and will not move to the next round.

Round 2 : Dialogue round

 A dialogue from a Bollywood movie will be recited.

 The team will have to guess the movie within 30 seconds
 Each right answer will be awarded 10 points .
 If the team is unable to respond, the question will be passed on to next team.
 If question is passed to next team, then the next team will be awarded extra 10 points.
 If the current teams are unable to answer the following question, it will be forwarded to
the audience, and the team will be marked zero.
 Passing of the question will not result in any negative marking.
 The team with the least points will be eliminated.

Round:3 : Emoji Interpretation

 There will be a series of emoji’s presented on the screen based on which the team would
have to guess the movie.
 Each right answer will be awarded 10 points .
 Only 40sec will be given to the team.
 Questions will be passed to the audience and zero marks will be given to the team

MR. AND MS. PULSATIO

REGISTRATION 25th – 29th May, 2023 (till 5p.m)

 Only nursing students are eligible for participation.

 Only 1 candidate/team will hold 1st position.

 There will be 3 rounds of different modes.

Round 1 will consist of walk and introduction.
Round 2 will be talent exhibit.
Round 3 will be a one – on – one interaction.
 Track to be used for talent exhibit should be handed down before the event in a personal
pen-drive.
 Obscenity of any kind is not allowed.
 Judgment will be based on costumes, makeup, walking stance, attitude, overall presentation
and performance of the participants.
 Decision of the judges will be final and binding.
 Participants will be eliminated in each round based on scores.
