Homeward Pets 2017 Annual Fur Ball Auction


WOODINVILLE, Wash. - Join Homeward Pet Adoption Center as it presents its 2017 Fur Ball Auction &

Dinner on Saturday, April 15th from 5:30 to 9 p.m hosted by Golden Globe and Emmy-winner actress Jane

Lynch. Its a formal celebration for all the animals that has become the cats meow! All guests come together

to support the care of homeless cats and dogs in our community through a night of food, wine, silent and live

auctions, fun raffles and games. Appearances will be made by Homeward Pets dogs and cats with special guest

Grammy-Award winner Sarah McLachlan singing and GQs Chef of the Year 99 Mario Batali preparing the food.

This is our best year yet! Were celebrating our best year of adoptions. Over 1,800 animals found forever homes!

Lets kickstart into the next year by making this Fur Ball the best fund raiser yet! said Jim Keller, Homeward Pet

Adoption Centers operations director.

Enjoy appetizers and four-course meal prepared by the famous native chef Mario Batali (gluten-free and vegan

options are available), while taking in the silent and live auction presented by Jane Lynch that includes signed

copies of her book Happy Accident, Sarah McLachlans hit album Mirrorball, front row seats to a

Seahawks game, cooking lessons with the cast of The Chew and much more.

Sarah McLachlan will take to the stage in the middle of the event to perform her Billboard award-winning hit

Angel as well as a few selections of her Grammy-nominated album Mirrorball. The cast of the Daytime

Emmy Award-winning show The Chew will take over after to give a cooking demistration about making pet

treats with raffle winners from the auidence.

Individual tickets are $150, a full table for 10 guests is $1,500 or pay $2,000 for the Top Paw VIP Table that

offers seats for 10 with champagne and cheese starters upon arrival. The Top Paw VIP Table also includes visits

with the performers, extra time with Homeward Pets star adoptable pets of the night and limited addition take-

away Homeward Pet truffles. All tickets can be bought at the Homeward Pet website.

Homeward Pets Fur Ball is an annual celebration for the animals. 500 guests come together

JANE LYNCH Hello, Im Jane Lynch. You probably know me from screaming at

the television on Glee. Well, Im here to yell at you, this time about

Homeward Pets Annual Fur Ball Auction and Dinner. On April

15th, Ill be hosting the Fur Ball for the first time, celebrating Home

wards 27 years of saving lives and finding forever homes for local cats

and dogs. This cocktail event has everyone barking in excitement

Golden Globe and
Emmy-Winning Actress
Jane Lynch grew up in Dolton,

Illinois where she graduated from

Thornridge High School. She recieved her bachelors degree

in theater from Illinois State University, then her MFA from Cornell University.

Lynch spent the first 15 years of her acting career in Chicago as a stage actor, being one of

only two women to join The Second City comedy troupe. In the 1990s, Lynch made it

into numerous television commercials and television shows as supporting roles. Her first

break through roll was in Judd Apatows 40 -Year-Old-Virgin. Her most defining

television role was being Sue Sylvestor on the set of Glee. Lynch currently hosts

Hollywood Game Night, where two teams made of one audience memeber and three

celeberties battle it out with fun games and references to pop culture. She has also

brought the show two Emmy Awards.

Lynch is not a foreigner to supporting animals. She is a self-proclaimed animal lover with

two dogs and a cat, all adopted from a shelter. She has also recorded public service

announcements for PETA supporting adopt, dont shop. Lynch also

sponsors annual adoption event at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena.
